Re: 32" Falcon Progress/ more new piccys page 16
Guy's, I'm very flattered with all the kind words, I just hope that I can do a good job to complete it....I'm not just saying that, It needs to have such a specific look to it, and I've never tried to match anything this closely before....arrgghh !..:wacko
Chris, shame about the figures, but thanks for looking anyway,..I'm a bit tempted to just leave it with the tamiya on there, I'll ponder over it a little...
I'm still needing figures then, so LMK if any turn up please..
Guy, thanks for the kind offer of the VIP pass, but I can't make the 28th, I'm having a small shindig for my birthday that day, don't wanna think about how old I am really, but serious amounts of beer should numb it a bit..lol..
As for the grime mix....I didn't write specific ratios down mate, I'm really sorry, I know I should've. But it's mainly about 2 thirds tam flat white, 1 third deck tan. I also added a few drops of medium grey and buff to warm it up a little bit...
Hi Moe, I did consider humbrol and the 129 colour looks close to my MR snowspeeder, so I wondered if it would be a good match lightened up a bit...
Anyway, hopefully a bit more progress this week, and I'll drop into halfords and get some of the pads. If Guy and Lee both say they're good, that's good enough for me..thanx dudes.
Cheers all
Phil
