32" Falcon Progress/ more new piccys page 23

Re: 32" Falcon Progress/ more newer pics page 7

I still hold out hope that the entire thing is a kit part.... not very likely though I know.

Seems like a reasonable match, how does it compare for size?

Re: 32" Falcon Progress/ more newer pics page 7

As for the yellow part, it looks like the airfix matilda part, but maybe they've cut those little notches into it..? cos they're not in the the part straight from the box. Unless it's not airfix...

I now think it's from the Airfix scorpion.

Does this help ?

I don't think it's from the chevy either..the fins..(or whatever they are) are evenly spaced on the chevy part but not on the falcon model..

Either way though the chevy part looks closer than what I've used, but what the heck..under paint who's gonna see it..

Phil

There are actually a couple kits that can be used for this gearbox part (possibly others...)
the AMT 1/25 Chi-Town Hustler is what you seek....

Re: 32" Falcon Progress/ more newer pics page 7

That's one nice find. Really helps complete the sidewall.

Sorry guys, are you talking about the tranny part? Just thought it looked like that of the Italeri Steyr?

Tranny parts are from the same kit Sstinson posted : AMT 1/25 Chi-Town Hustler, however they're plenty of other AMT funny cars coming with the same parts.

Hey guys..been starting work on the engine deck...will post piccys soon, but as ever, when I'm looking close at ref pics, more parts seem to materialise out of nowhere..when I think I have it all nailed down, stuff pops up..
If anyone knows any or all of these it would be great !

I've seen similar parts to the green arrow "X" bit but nothing 100%.
I thought the yellow arrow bit was part of the hanomag steering part that it's attached to, but it's not, it kinda looks like part of a towbar from something though..Y shaped with a hole at the top..
The red arrow part is something underneath the marder part with the cross on it...dunno what it is though.

This thing is driving me nuts !!, I just wannna finish the darn thing:cry

Also, the rear edge with the spoilers, boxy bits with the little rivet detail, and connecting rods still has me stumped...castings of any...especially the boxes would be fab !!

Anybody got landing gear ?

Cheers

Phil

Re: 32" Falcon Progress/ more newer pics page 7

The green arrow is from the Esci Sd.Kfz 10/4, there's a kit scan on studioscalemodelers.com

Thanks for that Sheridan spot, I had been looking for that one too.

Phil I got 2 Tamiya 1/35 Sheridans if you need a part.

I'm away a lot but could drag them out one night, they're pretty tough to get, took me a long time then 2 came at once :)

Very British
