I have this same model, but it’s missing the ears.. my friend gave this to me while he was moving.

You can see young Luke using this same saber behind the scenes in mando season 2

Wonder if they reused this same saber for Anakin…

I believe this to be a stunt, whether it had electronics in it, or just the clear tube to practice with before cameras roll.. that’s the big question

Wonder if there is electronics down inside this emitter..

If this is the same physical prop they were using in mando s2 it did have functioning electronics

I was checking it out at SDCC today too. Couldn't see into the bottom of the ID because of the top of the display, but did notice there's a set screw running from the pins on the side into the ID. They also appear to have added a plate to the bottom to cover any lettering.

At least three years ago, I saw someone selling this, which was strongly dismantled, on a second-hand platform in China. I was told that it was Hasbro.He seemed to want to take off the blade, but failed, and finally I bought it at a very low price.For reference：

The crew may have separated the blade according to a similar method in the video.Then install the metal tube inside.
