from what I know, they're pretty accurate, I've got a customer who is a size XXL & he's able to fit our XL

The XL size was pretty large for me (here on these pictures it has already been shortened by my seamstress). But anyway, you did a really great job on it, Mark, and it's a totally awesome thing to wear

Here is my jacket after the arms were shortened compared to how they were before.

The lower arm straps are removed right now, and I cut the black parts off of the cuffs.

EDIT: I just did this. The black strip is raised just to show where the real belt will go.

markpoon, have you made any alterations to your jacket? I really recommend it. Doing the right things totally transforms the look of it.

Anyone bought both a small and a medium? Is there much difference in size? Total length of the jacket and the sleeves? Measurements mean nothing to how it fits when worn

I wish I had more time to work on my jacket. I had to leave it at home to go to my duty station before I finished it. Does anyon have a finished jacket with sounds in it yet?

Here is my finished jacket. I had much deliberation on the best way to attach the belt buttons. In the end I took the plunge and cut away the first rib on the belt each side so that the buttons could sit flat and flush with the rest of the belt. Not how it is in the movie but it's a good compromise considering the way this jacket is made up. Certainly looks the part. I am happy with it.
