2015 Marty McFly Jacket - 14 spots left!

Anyone else 5ft 10" with a skinny build not getting anywhere close to the chart? Or anyone around my height who has selected a size already that can suggest? Not even my 5ft 3" Malaysian wife comes anywhere close to these measurements :?

I must be missing something.. Surely?

Also chest measurement "A" and shoulder measurement "C" are the same on the chart but pretty sure a chest is larger than a shoulder?

Are these measurements circumference or just from side to side?

If it's side to side then I'm guessing I'm around a large size.

Any advise would be great

Hi Mark, I'm sorry to say that I think I'm going to have to sit this one out I've been dealing with some unexpected expenses right now so timing isn't good for me, and I don't want to take up a spot on the interest list that might dissuade someone else from getting in on it. I know I'll come to regret it, I've been looking forward to this for a long time, but congrats to the lucky 20 getting in on it.

Also I dont want to put down a deposit to find out shipping is extraordinary and lose my deposit so I need a shipping quote before I commit. Ill measure myself up tonight but I would say ill be a medium/large.
Also how long do you expect it will take to make these jackets once deposit is sent?

yes, the flaps on the pockets are held together by velcro, its not visible & looks pretty good. I have shipped thousands of packages out of the country & singapore post's shipping cost is one of the cheapest in the world, I'm not sure at this moment but I don't think it will cost more than $60-70 to ship 1 jacket. I'm targeting to ship all the jackets in 4 weeks time or end of june. hope I've answered all your questions

Hi Mark

Will you be or rather can you provide a surgestion on types of glue to use and the best way of attaching plastic parts? I don't mean to sound like a complete dim wit but having spent $750.00 on a jacket the last thing I want to do is **** it up by using the wrong stuff on it. Also is there any chance of being able to to do a price for the plastic parts only as well. I wouldn't mind another set to revamp my B@mj.com jacket as I might be thinking of selling that to recoup some of the cost for this one. It's just a thought.

Since I saw this new limited run thread I have been intentionally avoiding it to prevent myself from caving in and sending a deposit. Finally decided to check it again. Was sure that all 20 spots would be taken, and am surprised that some are still available. Must be strong, must be strong...but want so bad...

Frankly Im surprised that the spots weren't all taken in the first couple days. Jedifyfe hasn't even commented which I think is strange. Personally I think this is one of the most rare moments in BTTF replica history. It is certainly a huge step for the community. People have tried to replicate accurate affordable jackets for decades. I wouldn't miss out on this.

I'd like to see a pic of it being worn as well. I'm a pretty skinny guy, and I feel like the medium will be way too big on me. Measuring the jackets I have (all size small), the medium 2015 seems to be much larger than them. I may end up taking the bttf jacket to a tailor to take it down a size or two. Being a slim guy, I like to wear fitted clothes (all my tshirts are fitted small). And I'd love for this to fit like something I would normally wear.
