Limited Run 2015 Marty McFly Jacket - Shipping Now!!!

Ye that's true it can be a 50/50, I asked Mark to label mine as a gift with a $20 value, I usually always get round income charges that way but it's never guaranteed

Just got some more info from a different website, says "awaiting payment of charges". Gutted, hope it's not too much. I take it they can only make you pay on the marked value and not just pull a figure out of the air as to what they think it's worth?

How much was it marked up as Mark?

Sticker for Emma tho, you were bang on with the reason they held it.

hi booshman,

hi Nicofett,

its super glue, some call it crazy glue. I use the large one to glue the 2 acrylics together & it bonds pretty well, its like white glue but its much stronger, the small one is just a free gift, its just ordinary paper glue ;)

Hi Mark

I took a look at the post #244. I see one type of glue is Supa glue. I take it any type of supa glue will do as they don't sell the particular brand you listed in my country. And what is the other glue? What type of adhesive is it. I see there are two types of glue tubes there in the same packet, one large and one small. Do you mix them like epoxy resin?

Well it happens to me pretty much every time I buy something from the USA >.>!

Well they have a £8 of handling fees, from my knowledge, you might end up with a £20/25 tax to pay xD

That really sucks. Can't get away with it every time I suppose. Just good they don't have what I really paid on the label.

hi Pyke,

no worries, I declare your package as "gift" with a low value too :thumbsup

I hope you did this to my package too Mark, because Brazil's customs is a real nightmare, there is a lot of taxes here....

Told you :cool

Yep you were bang on. 8 quid handling fee and the rest was VAT. Not sure how a parcel with a declared value of £30 ends up paying £16 tax. I'm not the best at maths but that's more than 50% which is bloody robbery.

The jackets are ace. The belts feel like they might break with even the lightest of handling, but the jackets themselves are solid. Hopefully adding foam as demonstrated in the mods thread will sort it out. The medium is too big all over, and even the small is a little wide on the shoulders. I reckon if MJF got in on this run he would have needed an XS size. :)

Yes, it is really robbery... But you can't say anything about it, otherwise they send your parcel back! I wish I had my word to say sometimes!

My jacket arrived! It came soon that I expected, and I didn't have to pay any taxes at all, so I am really happy! :) I'm love with this jacket, the quality is really awesome.
Mark, congrats for this project, you made our dream come true.

I hope to post some pictures here this weekend :)
