Hoping to get my jacket today, been checking the tracker like a mad man. Unfortunately I'm working a 24 hour shift so I won't be able to play with it until tomorrow if it does arrive. I'm curious though, based on reference photos, are there six small black buckles on this jacket? Three each for the shoulders/arms? I notice 12 are posted in the picture on page one.

I was thinking of trimming the belt and cuff straps down thinner, and using sticky velco to attach them to the jacket. That way, if the belt cracks or I need to fold the jacket up in a suitcase, I can easily remove it.

I've tried velcro but the belts looks too thick so good luck if you decide to try

not yet... I'm tighted up with other projects & have not found time to put my own jacket together but sewing the belts onto the jacket seems to be the way to go

OK, I just got mine. All I can say is that this jacket is GORGEOUS!! The leather work, the casting, the acrylic pieces, everything is SO well done. I am extremely please. The fit is unbelievable. The shoulder and elbow bellows perfectly done.

The only minor issues are that the waist and cuff bands can get dented easily (which we already knew) and the red circle inside the black acrylic pieces are a little too large. Other than those tiny things, this jacket is so awesome. Thank you Mark!

Had to put all the outfit on. I'm going to wear this jacket to a screening of BTTF2 tomorrow night. It won't have the cuffs or waist bands on it but I'll take my time with those.

Did you end up buying those rubber belt and cuffs to replace Mark's, or are you trying to find a material to fill them with to make them more durable?

Yeah. The fit is really great. I have pretty broad shoulders. I am about 205lbs right now and 6'1". I got the Large. I'll be down to 190-195 in a few weeks so it should fit even better.

I didn't. I think I will try to fill these with something. Not sure what, maybe expanding foam.
