The party will start at 1:00 PM. All details will be in the invite.


The North Texas Prop Party will again be the Saturday after Valentine's Day, which happens this year on February 19.

This year I've invited Jedifyfe to attend from California. I've always enjoyed watching his collection grow and look forward to meeting him and all of us getting a chance to connect with somebody out of the area.

Additionally, FunkyJedi has agreed to make his 1st place chili from the contest last year as our main course of food.

Hope you didn't misunderstand. There's nothing wrong with R2 ... more of a local joke. I've been with the R2 Builder's group for what, 10 years now? I've helped other guys with their lights, or even re-wiring their droids, yet mine only *vaguely* resembles R2. Too much work, too many kids, and way too many ex-wives have kept from from working on it. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Hope you didn't misunderstand. There's nothing wrong with R2 ... more of a local joke. I've been with the R2 Builder's group for what, 10 years now? I've helped other guys with their lights, or even re-wiring their droids, yet mine only *vaguely* resembles R2. Too much work, too many kids, and way too many ex-wives have kept from from working on it. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

I can't wait. Again...as usual...I don't have much to bring, but I recently joined the R2 builder's club and will soon take that plunge to build an R2 with my son. I'm excited to talk to you guys again and hopefully get some good pointers and starter tips.

Kerri and I will of course be there. Also, I understand this is a slight breach in protocall on the Junkyard rules, but with all the R2 builders that are going, I'm in the market for a static completed R2. I mention this only so that if anyone has one to sell I could just pick it up there.
