Anyone recognize the logo on the 2 liter beer boot in Beerfest? It has a lion on it like Lowenbrau or Weihenstephan but doesn't look like either of those companies. There is a picture on the imdb site for Beerfest but right clicking is disabled.

here's a bad grab from the website, but a start.

so from the link, what's the drinking game you play with these? spoiler alert it if it's key to the movie, but the Straub's link eluded to it.

If you finish the boot- you buy the next one. If you spill- you buy the next one. At least that's what got me alcohol poisoning on my 21st birthday... in part.... the shots had something to do with it too. And the other 5 bars we went to...

Interesting.

The figure on the shield is used on some Irish coat of arms. It's called a Griffin. Stumbled across that when doing research on banshees. IIRC it had to do with those that bravely fought to the death or fought on after death or fought death. Sorry can't be more sure.

I googled a Griffin crest.

The way we used to play was the first person to make a "bubble" in the toe of the boot had to buy (or refill) the next boot. Another version was to make the "next to last" person to finish buy the next pitcher. Really interesting to see how much someone would drink to make sure they didn't have to buy the next round.
