Never actually posted a prop made by myself on this board. Like to soak in info and work on stuff, but I have a bad habit of bouncing back and forth between projects which is not very productive. Most of my finished stuff has been posted on TDH as I was working on a Boba, but hopefully within the next few months I can get my act together and start posting on the regular. lol.

Anyway I made this for a friend who has been playing since day one and I knew he would really appreciate it so I buckled down and got it done. Special thanks go out to contec for valuable help with this. Thanks and here it be...

PS. Please excuse the dryer backdrop, but I was in a hurry. The dryer is actually another project altogether and will post photos of it once finished...LOL

Looks great. I have been wanting to do one and just have not got around to it yet.

What did you use as a medium?
Did you make a prototype and cast from that or is this the only piece?
Where did you get the feathers?

This is the only piece. Body was made from resin, spoon made from styrene and smoothed with glazing putty, pull ring made from sintra, smaller rings made from an old marker.

Feathers were also hand made. I used drinking straws, bailing wire, and for the peacock feather hair from me back. I tell ya...those birds really are skilled. It took me almost two whole weeks to get those feathers to look right.

J/K of course. Got the peacock "eye" from Hobby Lobby and the white feather from Michael's.

I Like it and don't know **** about WoW...saw the commercial though.

Neat!

Great job! :thumbsup

There's just something about those of us who work on the really odd and obscure props. Good thing there's treatments for it. :lol

Keep up the great work.
