First time I have seen this old video. I was a kid in the 1970s and 1980s, and saw the OT in the theaters. There is some really good retro stuff her!
Some quick thoughts:
1) There is 3 MINUTES of ESB film footage in this interview! Those of you not around at the time (no internet, minimal cable TV exposure), this was GOLD to get something like this televised during / prior to a movie's release.
2) For those who still think Lucas was making it all up as he went along, Hamill mentions the prequel Trilogy plans! Starting at 5:00
He even says that it would take place 20 years before these films, when "our characters would be just children"
3) Ford still does interviews the same today
4) Large Fett and Stormtrooper toys!
5) Ford seems to be in full Deckard mode
6) I'm getting older
