BATNOCULARS - Batnoculars (Binocular) prop
.
Has anyone here found any information on them or created their own replica?
.
I am looking to 3D Print a close approximation.
I know there are mini versions available online, but I wanted the challenge of printing my own representation.
Here is a 3D render I did in WINDOWS 10 - 3D BUILDER.
They will of course not be functional since it is only a prop. :)

I will add the front yellow BAT plate when they have been printed.

This is a breakdown of the parts in different colors.
It gives me a better look at what needs to be printed separately.
This is how it will look in the partially closed position, since once the "bat logo" is in place, it will
not be adjustable in or out.
It will be mostly printed in black PLA with the lense rings and mirror prisms printed in SILK Metallic silver.

The following thread has a pretty comprehensive breakdown of these binoculars.

"Nikon miniature binoculars" brings up a few results on eBay.

Yep, the mini NIKON's are what I loosely based my representation on.
I think this would be a fun project and cheaper to 3D print my "close approximation on".
For shi+'s and giggles.
.
It seems as though there where a couple different versions.

I already saw the ones on eBAY as well as at that web sight you posted.
Thanks for any information you can share for this 3D Printed project attempt.

Well, here is the first test print of the mini binoculars in PLA filament based on the design above.
.
This will give me something to work with and will be great for cosplay when I add the Batman Logo.. :)

I wanted to make the BATNOCULARS closer to what is seen (by size) in the reference photos.
So I resized what I had to be a bit smaller and reprinted.
Fun little Cosplay project. :)

Yeah, when I did mine a few years back I almost drove myself crazy because SO many companies made those and they were all nearly identical. I just settled on the closest ones I could find because, well, let’s be honest. How many people that view your collection are going to examine these and call you out that they aren’t 100% accurate? Hell, 99% of the people that see these won’t even REMEMBER Batman using them!

Thanks UFO.
This project was just an experiment to test my modeling skills.
My printers are pretty well dialed in for my needs, so I figured I would 3D print the results.
Not sure if I want to sell these on the net since I have not seen any 3D printed Batnoculars before. :)

I just wonder if the screen used BATNOCULAR was closer in size to the Mattel Toy.....
and was maybe even the toy since not a lot of it was shown close up.
They needed to be small and only had to look functional on screen...... hummmm.
(just thinking out loud).
