Does he love space helmets as well?

Yep, get them while they're young.

Kind of Leroy Neiman-esque. Nice.

Way better than what I could do at that age! Can't wait to see what he can do when you get him an airbrush :D

That's gold!

I'll bet in 10 years that bust will be your favorite prop!

At the end of the day all these props don't mean a thing, that little smile and hanging out with dad is what it's all about!

It already is. :lol

I unpacked it and left it on the kitchen table, and he said, "Daddy, what are you going to do with that?" And I said, I'm going to paint it. Of course he said, "Can I help?" and I'm not made of stone. :lol It wasn't exactly what I had planned for it, but I loved every minute of it and the paint wasn't even dry before I thought that was the best thing ever.

Just as an update, his (maternal) grandmother saw this and was really pissed at me that I wouldn't just give it to her. I told her if she wanted to buy another one from Eli, we could get Walker to paint it up for her but I think she thinks this level of sculpting talent grows on trees because when I told her a casting would be a few hundred bucks if he was still even producing them, she insisted even more strongly that I should give her this one.

"When you give me your 52" widescreen TV," I said.
