Since a 1/72 Sandcrawler doesn't exist... I was thinking about scratch building one.
I have been planning one myself. I wish I had a 3d printer as it would really help.

He looks excellent. Nice color transitions between the belly and the rest
Is that from the Jabba the Hutt Throne room kit?
Okay, so I went a little crazy and made an ultra-complete set that includes a dozen doors for a full 360 diorama, and a bunch of other details like the vertical posts on the "southern" side of the set (if the engines are at the north, say) and the little box with wires coming out of it next to the blue box. I also made a bunch of the wall drain type thingies that appear everywhere. But those take up a lot of room and thus add considerable expense to the print. What do you think?
That Ronto looks pretty good size wise. I am definitely going to need to pick one up
it looks even better painted
Agreed... it looks like it fits with everything else. I have a dewback on the way, too...
If the Dewback is not too out of scale then it might also be worth it to get the Bantha. I have all three of those in my Wish List for ages now but kept finding other priorities to get
Oooh! A bantha?! I'll get and then you'll know for sure.
Following with interest!!!!
By the way, have you seen this docking bay diorama?
Diorama "DOCKING BAY 94" per falcon deagostini - Pagina 4 - Forum Modellismo.net
Piccola revisione delle gru. Ho aggiunto unestensione.www.modellismo.net
Cheers !!!
Well, who knows, perhaps they wet there after ESB upgrades.... wait the Lando version also had the front side landing gear bays! Lol!
The one thing that feel "against" is the entrance on the wrong side, somehow I feels that it shuould be on the "other" side.
