Ive always wanted a model of the falcon ever since i watched Star wars for the first time and had some decent models here and there but always wanted a larger studio scale kinda model but i always found them to be far too expensive. Till i came across the Revell model. (Im not the first to do this btw) Which while at first doesnt seem like a great model. With some some edits and a repaint, can be an amazing model.
For reference this is the standard model/toy:
Now Im gonna share my lil journey with yal. I have already begun but im still towards the beginning. Ive merely added white primer and gone over all the panels with my airbrush with some simple black which defo seems effective. I put it together first apart from the top so that things blend together better when applying dark shadowy areas and such.
Next on the agenda is to do a large overall coat of a nice grey yellowy colour.
