1/6 Terminator T-800 head sculpt (for Hot Toys 12" figure)

I know this isn't really a prop, but this is my first sculpt I've ever done. Some things are off of course, but I like how it came out:

Here's the reference photo I used the most:

As you can see, there are still alot of differences between the two, but it looks enough like it to me.

I'll start painting today. Hopefully it comes out good.

Wait, this is your first ever sculpt? What a coincidence - this is my first ever attempt to arrange letters to form complete modern english words that I'm intentionally stringing together to create a cohesive expression of my thoughts. It's a shame I have nothing useful to say. Except that I believe you're really talented. And the sunglasses are awesome.

Thanks! Yeah, I still have a bit of tweaking. It looks better in person, but I hope the painting will bring out more of the detail.

Amazing, how did you do that with the Gargoyles glasses?

The hinges (I think thats what they're called) broke off the original Hot Toys ones (very brittle) so I scratchbuilt my own. Need to fix them a bit and they'll be fine.

his cheeks looks a little full but once you get the hair completed I think it will look awesome.

Well, here's the final work (or close to it). A little disappointed in his nose, mouth and some other features, but other than that, not too bad for a first sculpt IMO. Next thing to do is to tweak out the body a bit (and, yeah the head looks big on the body right now):

Hopefully, next sculpt I won't rush as much as I did this one.
