The last time I had this much cash, I contcacted some fols about a few GK I wanted but there were some delays and had to wait.

Unfortunately, things arose that took the spare cash from me before the kits were ready. I really want this one and want to make it happen.

Sweet Richard!
I hope you don't get tired of hearing this.
...and ya work so bloody fast too!

I'm definatley gettin' one o' them thar vinyl-cutters!

Regarding 3D-builder on a previous post about the "concept" A-wing
I agree, it is so very close to the final version ...but it would be nice to see one with the blue paint scheme , which for obvious reasons they couldn't pull-off with the technology of the time whem making Jedi.

'Same trouble with the "concept" TIE fighters, except that the "ball" was perhaps, proportionally larger , which IMOH didn't look as good.

Since we're on the subject of concept ships; I'd always wanted to try my hand at the Mr. McQuarrie's concept snow-speeder.

What would you guys say about a 1/24 scale and in 1/48 scale?
I think it would be a nice challenge to resolve the various "angles" and bring the 2D "idea" into 3D reality.

REL, I can't wait to see this X-wing in person in a couple of weeks.. I hope you bring lot's o' copies..they're going to "fly off the tables!"

Thanks, guys.

I'm sculpting the pilot today, this is a first for me, I hope it doesn't end up looking like something from a Star Trek transporter accident.

This is the pilot I'm going for.

One thing I love about this design, and the way REL has interpreted it, is the round rocket ship shape with wings. Kinda retro-progressive. Even the shape of the wings. Great casting!
