1/100 Sword Impulse

Hello guys,

Thought I show something too.

A few months ago, I caught the Gundam bug and have been building these ever since alonside the usual SW kits. So, here goes anyway, not sure if there is any Gundam fans here too.

This is a 1/100 Sword Impulse modified to look as it is in the anime but I thought I lengthen a few areas. The most entensive modification on a kit I ever done. This darn kit took way too long to finish. And thinking I can put this behind me. I am asked to build another same one.

In the anime, this mech were used to cut up enemy ships into 2. Sweet.

Sorry guys, my camera really sucks peanut juice and I have to adobe it to make it clearer. The real deal, the red colour is hurting to the eyes and the sword are painted with a chrome-like finish.

Seeing these mechas brings back memories of when I was 10 back in '77 and wanting one of those 2 foot tall 'Shogun Warriors' toys.

I still do.

Funny thing is that I never thought I will like get hooked onto these. All my life, I never like them giant robots Gundams. Darn, I didn't even like the name.

Look at me now, enjoying these. :unsure

I've built a few mechas.

I had a some of those Robotech mechs from the mid-80s. Those were some nice kits.

None of those survived my brother and I though.

I'm partial to the Nitto SAFS suits. I have one unbuilt that I'm saving for something fun to do.

I always like Mechwarrior, love the first game to the last one. Not the Xbox one coz it suck leech.

Too bad there aren't any kits of Mechwarriors.

However, I am not too familiar with the Robotech or SAFS you mentioned tho... :confused
