Hope you get the right stuff. Have been trying to find it here in DK, but really haven't had much luck finding anything remotely similar. Looking forward to seeing this finished. A shame that you got stiffed.

Theres a few possibilities... Theres a supplier that has all kinds of Waffle fabrics but I'd have to pay for samples apparently... I might just send a little sample of the stuff I have (Ginos proto-type hood) to a few places so they can source something from that.

Heres a pic from a catalogue that a supplier has for some Waffle fabric that seems spot on. They say they can do black.

I'm now talking with 10 potential manufacturers of the waffle fabric... Heres an image of a sample of one which one supplier sent me. the square size is a shade larger than the stuff I've got in hand on my proto-type hood which is actually a good thing and the squares are a bit more pronounced aswell.

I bought a dish towel at a dollar store once which I swear was the exact right type of material. Too bad the tag just had a company name on it that seems to have no website or contact information of any kind whatsoever. Looks like that one you posted is pretty dang close.

I'm pleased to confirm I've found someone whos found a supplier of the most totally accurate fabric for my Emperor hood display!!! Heres a sneak of part of his display but I'll leave him to show off the finished piece in due course... Hes currently working on it :eek

Can't wait to show everyone a fully finished Emperor bust for the first time. Mines been sat around for about a year or so waiting for his cloths, no thanks to a certain individual, who couldn't care less and has no honour or credibilty This proves that no one can claim exclusivity on here or anywhere else!
