1:1 Millennium Falcon Cockpit Replica - Group Build

That splash of colour on that "handle" looks really sharp! Any thoughts of adding some more coloured panels?
Thanks, Y! The painting and weathering has been so much fun.

ok... two more sneak peek photos (EDITED) : )

I didn't lose them... I just can't remember where I put them...

Hi SofaKing. I'm confused.
I had a look at your Youtube channel and you had a Millenium Falcon cockpit but the video list refers to a YT300. Have you built two replicas? What is a YT300?
You've possibly already explained this but there's over 500 pages!

Sorry for the thick questions.

Jim.

Hey Jim,

Thanks for checking out the thread and channel! No worries at all - things do get a bit confusing! I am building several projects. 99% of the 500+ pages here on this RPF thread are focused primarily on the Full Scale Millennium Falcon Cockpit I started WAY back in 2012. The other projects scattered about are a 1/4 and 1/6 scale Falcon cockpit(s) and the 1/6 scale project that I have called the YT-300 - this is a ship of my own design.

Both the RPF and the YouTube channel changed focus when the I teamed up with a prop company called Real Movie Toys in Dallas, TX. For almost 2 years the cockpit was on the convention circuit - which was a lot of fun and a huge success! But the cockpit was out of my hands so I couldn't make the regular updates that everybody was used to so I started the other Star Wars related projects. Whether fortunate or not, Covid hit and conventions came to a grinding halt. The cockpit sat in a warehouse and no forward progress was being done so we deiced to bring the cockpit back home. A LOT of updates are on the way re: the full scale build and I couldn't be more excited!

I hope that made sense? :)
