Hi Gang,

I'm considering pulling ALL the LEDs out. They just aren't working the way I had hoped. I figure that will be the last thing to do... If anybody has any ideas please feel free to let me know. :)

Thank you so much, my friend! Believe it or not... I don't really have that much experience with wood working. I just jumped in and did it. :) So far... no missing limbs!

I have a confession. I check this build two or three times A DAY. The ambition of this project alone inspires me, but the quality and detail is mind blowing. I am working on a TARDIS console and I find this post humbling.

The fact that you are making the console is incredible but the fact that you are making the rest of the cockpit just blows me away every time I look at it. It all looks so professional in the pictures.

And your making such fast progress...

Thank you for the very kind words! As I've always said, it's been a labor of love... There are so many things I would do differently. I've never done anything like this! lol

Are you posting pics of your Tardis build? :)

Thanks much! I'll be taking it apart this morning and getting the panels filled and sanded and then start the process of drilling the holes and then painting... This is where the fun begins... :)

I just started looking over this thread and I gotta say what an awesome display of attention to details. That is some great work that you have done. I just need to go back to the beginning and start reading. What an inspiration. Can't wait to see the finished cockpit.

LOL! I thought the same thing! The console actually has to be raised approx 1.5 feet (+ or -) for it to line up correctly with the back wall.

Do I hold off and wait till the surround is complete or go ahead and put the console in place now? :)

Hi Gang...

OK... I'm getting the console in place to see how it looks against the surround but I have to finish a few things with the back boxes. Almost there!
