When I found this picture online I immediately disregard it as a replica for i.e. the museum
tours since here Yoda has whiskers :

Then I watched ESB the other night and to my horror I noticed that Yoda has indeed more
facial hair then I could remember. And trust me I have seen ESB many times over :confused

In certain scenes they were not as much apparent. Most likely, but, were there different
Yoda puppets used on set? And did one have no whiskers/moustache hair attached on his
upper lip?

I've always assumed they all have them. I have done some screen stills and have seen evidence on all the scenes he's close enough in. Not sure if all of them do however.

Hi there,

I've just started doing the finishing work on my display which will also incorporate my Luke statue at some stage (stay tunned).... In the meantime heres a few pics of the Urethine rubber head. I did a lot of finished work on this before molding so hopefully you'll notice the difference.

I've created this to give a kind of rustic charm of the Freeborn style of sculpture... I'm getting Cantor and Nissel to do me some brand new eyes which are a bit larger that the older ones with a slightly smaller iris size and a touch darker.

This is a fantastic looking Yoda! Not trying to start a flame war, but GINO's Yoda also impressed the he11 out of me. Someone will have to PM me regarding the differences between the two. I haven't studied up on the nuances of Yoda's look, so consider me a layman.

Thanks but I sculpted both Yodas myself and I don't need to be told what is plainly obvious to my own eyes - just yet ... these are something I created... I know both sculpts inside out and would not bother venturing this far if the new one wasn't superior... however, you can privately compare the two and come to your own conclusions - but I strongly suggest you all wait till this is finally finished before issuing opinions
