I hope it's not out of place for me to ploint out that this is not the final version, this is the V3a - the final sculpt is the V3b with many alterations, including the lower jaw.
I think a lot of folks are thinking this is the final piece - I thought so myself before Phil corrected me.
As far as an eFX version, it'll be interesting to see what transpires with that. The touring Yodas are pretty far removed from the look of the screen used puppets, so I question if an original Yoda mold still exists? A fascinating thought, but probably best discused in a seperate thread so as not to derail this one.
That aside, I can't wait to see a completed V3b!

lol.... I'd love to see eFX do one and I'd probs be up for buying one myself if I can get in on these extremely limited runs... However, I might be bared because of a certain employee of eFX or the price might put me off :lol
At least I can make one thats pretty close which is a better challenge and more than enough for me... and when/if eFX do a run and when/if I get one, I'll use it for measurements to make and even closer to perfect sculpt so it'll be doing me a favour to use it as a lifestudy for a puppet version.
However, I'll be surprise if George would write this over to be produced even by a great company such as eFX as it could open this unique character to unscrupulous individuals that would re-cast it and that would be sad:confused

Phil in many ways, this looks better than the one on tour. That one always bugs me, especially the costume, this one however, doesn't bother me in the slightest. Well done!!!!!!

Everytime that I get on the RPF, I'm absolutely amazed by the skills that it takes to pull some of these projects off. This is, by far, the best project on the RPF right now. I'm so taken by the realism of your work. We should start a "Best Project of 2011" thread and I think this would go straight to the top. Congrats on a top notch product!

Hey guys... Noticed quite a few more tweaks needing to be done from the last series of pics so had a bit of free time earlier this week to address them... The changes mainly revolve around the eyebrow bulges eyelids and ear positioning but theres a lot more than that besides... This really makes my "older" versions look rubbish now, I think :lol
