Re: 1:1 "Freeborn" YODA (THE ULTIMATE GOAL) Almost Finished Pge [19]
IMHO this is the best Yoda replica ever. Very well done!
Better than the MOM Yoda, which sad to say now looks very little like the character we saw on screen. (unlike yours)

Got the parts molded for the static in this extra flexible urethine stuff a friend sent over from the States. It can be painted with acryllics aswell and hair punched in... basically just as good as the latex for working with but no distortion and aging issues.

Couldn't resist another "screencap"
I cannot think of anything coming even close to giving the same feeling one gets from seeing Yoda onscreen. Anything you've done in the past simply becomes an echo of this definitive work....

Thanks guys...
On the subject of the eye mechanism.... the animatronic guy got back to me with a very high quote for the radio controlled robotics (eighteen hundred dollars + :wacko) so unfortunately I'm going to have to abandon that idea and persue my own method... hand and cable controlled device. I've got it all figured out on paper so now need to create the parts :love
A little question to you guys..... do any of you notice if Yodas eyes move up and down at any point during the ESB or ROTJ ?
