1:1 Brandon Lee 'The Crow'... Teaser!

Went back and double-checked. Gideon's gun is never shown in focus. Best I can say is that it's a chrome revolver. It's never conclusively established whether Eric takes it or not, but to me, it only seems like he leaves with the shotgun.

Below are captures of Funboy pressing the gun into Eric's hand, Eric with the gun in Funboy's apartment and Eric taking T-Bird hostage with what seems to be the same gun. You can decide if it's .357 or .38 calibre. I'm not as good with guns as some other folks hereabouts.

I have always loved this movie, and the costume was the first one I ever made by myself. It is really nice to see that you are making this bust.

It would be great to be able to use the scuplt in a life size display.

Looking at IronFist's thumbnails, it looks like a stainless S&W model 66-2 .38/.357 mag; I had one years ago and loved it (after I took off the sharp wood target grips and put on Pachmayrs, that is)...

Wow, that is just absolutely beautiful. Not only his likeness, but his life is captured amazingly well in this sculpt. I am in awe.

Sick nice, just sick nice... i have been a die hard fan for some time of the Crow and this captures brandon lee perfectly. What kind of clay did you use on this?

Also, I am curious to why a private comission is being turned into a licenced prop? Not that I dont want one of these, but I have rarely herd of this happening.

Thanks Mirax H, that's a very nice comment ;)

Scattrap, Thanks. I used Chavant on this sculpture. By 'private' I meant I'm not at liberty to discuss the collectable companie's name at this time.

I agree that the shell is a 357. I think in one of O'Barr's drawings it shows the crow with several of the shells in his hair and the end of one states 357. Your talent knows no bounds. You impress me with every piece of art you complete. Any idea when this might be released? I know you are still sculpting it but can you give a ballpark. End of 06? Again this is a masterpiece of one of my favorite characters and actors. Hell yes you should add the necklace. I do not know if any one has mentioned this but are you going to add the scar across the bridge of the nose? It is faint in the movie but shows clearly in the comic.

edit* I just saw the post by Iron Fist about the nose scar. Yes it made it into the movie. It is just very faint and only visible in some of the lower light scenes. You have to add it. This scar is as much of The Crow as his face paint is. That is what I love about this movie. No big character redesign. It stayed fairly true to the comic.

Hey Howard,

i have never seen a better sculpt of brandon lee in my life
i bow to your skills as a sculptor

dam i wish i had half that talent

Absolutely breathtaking.. The Crow has been my favorite movie of all time ever since I saw it in the theatre. Really tragic that Brandon Lee's greatest role had to be his last. This is one piece that I will definately have to own even if I have to kill for it. ;)
