I really like that Galactus. I'm gonna have to sign up on the SCF....I agree though, I would like to see more marvel costumes. However, with that said I'm working on an iron man but its the extremis armor....I just don't think I have the skill to tackle the movie versions yet.

I too have followed your progress from the 405th to here. Its incredible to see a finished pep suit in action. Its absolutely stunning!

Thanks!...I guess it seems that way when you just throw up a few pics lol. Honestly, I felt exactly same way about your suit. It just seemed to come together so quickly and flawlessly...kinda makes me wish I had gone the foam route :rolleyes

Unfortunately I only had the suit on for 5 mins so I only have a few pics of the entire suit. Sorry about that top pic. I can't seem to get rid of the empty white space.

To save on time and to make sure the thighs would be symmetrical I made a model for them out of craft foam. Then I put them on my duct tape dummy legs, filled in the oval detail with a quick clay sculpt then molded them and finally bondoed any wrinkled areas after I cast them.

This piece was made from 3 separate sheets of craft foam that were molded, cast in silicone then bonded together to create a sturdy yet flexible upper thigh.

And here are some WIP pics and pics of some of the pieces in their current state. I will be re-sanding/painting all the parts soon. I was in such a rush to get it done for halloween that I think everything needs to be done again:
