Which books? Strain of Necroscope?
Necroscope is one of my favorite series. I'm blown away by the fact that they've never been made into a series or movies, especially considering all the vampire crap that's been made.

The introduction of the Vampire hunters was something that rekindled my interest in the series. It was waning too much with an incredibly stupid CDC doctor and humans who can't seem to do anything intelligent. The 'plan't to capture the Nazi in the subway was so clumsy that they should have shot themselves in the face for being so stupid. What was the plan anyway? Follow the guy .. somewhere? Just bad. Bad. Bad.
Eph really needs to just die off screen so we can get on with Setrakian and Vasily taking the lead.

That was definitely Rick "Screw this!" Baker in that scene! But, for the love of God, this show is getting really bad. Sunday's episode was badly directed too. All the action was disjointed and it looked like they didn't have enough extras to create a big crowd of vampires... stupid debates between characters when anyone else would be DOING SOMETHING. The dope inside the cashiers booth still keeping track of the items they're "stealing"... I could go on. The best thing about this show is how it makes me doubly appreciate the writers/actors/ FX people working on the Walking Dead.
saw the most recent episode, the reveal of the Master's face was a real let down. I had hoped it would be done towards the big confrontation with the good guys.
The Masters face was comical looking and i was surprised at how funny i found it. I don't think that was what they were going for, reaction wise.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that. I think they could have done so much better. It looked like a cheap Halloween mask.

I'm actually really enjoying the show, although there are some hiccups along the way, I really enjoy the concept and most of the characters.
Also there's one thing that's bugging me, does anyone know the jacket Vasiliy Fet wears? It looks like a utility jacket but with less pockets but I can't find any info on it anywhere

I like it, but they have to change the Master's look next season. Also why isn't there anything on the news, in show, about the vampires out attacking everyone?! Yeah the Internet is down, but they still have local news and they show the vampires out all over the place now.

God, Eph is the WORST. I really disliked him in the book, but I feel like he's even worse in the show. That whole scene where Kelly's friend walks in on him and Nora after sex was just horrible. Sorry, Eph, you lost the high road in claiming it's so dangerous there when you decided to have a shag with your girlfriend in an unsecured house!
On the other hand, I like the way the actress who plays Kelly is portraying her descent into vampirism. It's relatively subtle and delightfully creepy. Aside from Fet (who's just awesome any way you cut it), she's the best part of this episode.
