Hi all,
I'm back again with another build! Just finished an client Atomic City D-7 & will be throwing it up on the SS page, post build. Also starting a 24" Jupiter 2 for my client & will post something about it soon. Now it's time to do something for myself as well. So.... on to the build.
Finally working on an out of the box kit, first time in a year! I had two of these sitting around forever, staring at me from the corner of my shop. One of them was started & shelved a year ago, the other new in box. I decided I wanted to start from the beginning with the fresh model. At the same time I purchased these, also grabbed the paragrafix photo etch & got lucky enough to get one of the rare PNT photoetch sets as well. For this build I will only be using the Paragrafix set & saving the PNT for later to use the other build.
Ship will be getting a full light package with floods. Not going to use the raytheon method for the floods, but will use arrays of SMD leds. Going custom on the lights. I just can't stomach paying $170 for a light kit that I can build for $20.
I'll add some captions later
So.... Enough babble here are some pics so far!
Happy Modeling!
