Polar Lights 1/350 Klingon K'Tinga Battlecruiser

Finished this up this week. Fun kit with a bit of aftermarket from Paragrafix. I also picked up the Polar Lights lighting kit for it, which included some photoetch replacement parts.

Unfortunately, I didn't realize that I didn't take any photos of the underside until after I had put away all my camera gear. Go figure.

I’ve always assumed that the classic Klingons blasted Jerry Goldsmith’s “Klingon Theme” over subspace channels, to precede their arrival.

Similar to the choppers blasting “Flight of the Valkyries” in Apocalypse Now...

I actually used the Tamiya color call outs from the box, but I lightened them a LOT with flat white (the three greens). Straight from the bottle they didn't even come close to the right colors.
