Hi guys this is some great stuff! However i'm a guy and i'm looking to make a male Mord Sith costume. Instead of the dark red color I want to use black and make black agiels also. Of course i wont be making a corset but a similar (and not so tight) armor type piece. I'm just wondering if anyone has attempted this before or if i'm the first. Basically my vision is Edward Scissorhands meets Mord Sith. This will only be about the fourth costume I have made and i've never worked with leather. I want to make a neck piece and leg piece that resemble that of the Mord Sith too. I would appreciate any suggestions or advice or comments. Thank you....

Hi!
I'm new here. I know there is a lot of threads talking about making a Mord Sith Costume, but I'm really not good with sewing and all this stuff. Do you know who I could contact to buy one? I can't afford the screen-used ones on EBay plus they wouldn't fit me anyways. (I'm not allowed to post in the Junk Forum for the moment....)
Indra, you're pretty much on your own here in terms of how to make your costume. Male Mord'Sith don't officially exist in the books that I recall
Hi Folks,
I just recently noticed this discussion here, though I've been frequenting this forum for a while.
I can confirm that my company, Historic Enterprises, is the manufacturer and retailer of the two styles of buckles used on the neckpiece, and I am the creator of those original designs. We had sold quite a few of these to the production company, but it didn't hit me that they were used in a popular series. Legend of the Seeker actually only came to my attention when today a customer asked when we'd have those back in stock and that they were used in this series.
Currently I have an order in with my manufacturer and hope to get the new stock just after the first of the year.
Since I had no idea that people were so interested in this series and recreating these costumes, I had no idea that I should keep better inventory on those buckles. I will try to do a better job now, so you folks can have exactly correct buckles for your outfits. The ones we still sell are all made in the same molds that the ones used in the series costumes, so you can have ones exactly like the screen used ones.

There are people interested in buying the corset buckles. Where can we find these, do you know?
Hey,
I have just found this thread and what a blessing it has been, saved me so much research! I have my catsuit on the way and was wondering what people are doing for the boots, anyone found a source for them or something similar?
Look forward to posting on here more
Jo
