the silver details on the side of the shins and the screw details, all in one piece, so that i would save some time cutting

Did you change the boot layout? I was just messing with that this morning and came up with something better. My first unfold was ridiculous. I like your new rework on the shin. I might use that. 
When I talk about the boot layout, I mean the toe. That was just stupid. I'm trying to fix that. =P

yeah i did something about the boot too, not too much of reunfolding, since i was rushing the suit for my friend (i had until sunday) and i'm making this build as fast as i could (even though you guys always thought that i work fast, it's not fast enough this time lol)
i made the toe unfold cleaner, as show here:
the little toe details on the side are bypassed using this unfold, gonna use a hot soldering iron to sculpt that detail before painting
and so, this is what i've got so far, i'm currently building the boot, about 40% completed

i will finish both left and right boot tonight (it's 9:41pm here) and hopefully i could start focusing on the bicep and the forearms. . .the only thing i need to build for this mk42 for my friend. . .

haha lol actually i promised myself that this will be the last mark 42 i will build. . .since november 2012 up to now i'm still building this suit. . .and to be honest i'm so burnt out with it. . .but as a hobbyist. . .i can't say no, not yet, besides my friends love my works so that motivates me to build (again and again) the mark 42. . .
after this, i might continue my heartbreaker. . .then maybe this. .freehand

after 2 hours. . .i finished the left boot. . .well sort of, just need to add the screw part and the foot flaps. . and start working on the right boot
