Han In Carbonite (H.I.C.) Right Hip/Thigh detail

I’ve been looking all over for some information or insight on this detail. If there is an old thread discussing it please post a link in the comments.

It appears on screen so it’s not storage damage. The only thing I can think of is it’s suppose to be his pant stripes but even that doesn’t seem to match up.

Anyone know something about this?

Could it be storage or transit damage between it being built and filmed?

Could be but seems like a strange pattern inside. It doesn’t look like fiberglass or anything and does appear more deliberate. Would seem a pretty easy repair before filming also. IDK.

I’m hoping maybe someone has seen it in person at some point that could add some info or thought on it.
