I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I really do prefer this over the Bandai kit. This is actually building a model, with parts. Bandai's always seems to build up like a toy and is half finished for you out of the box. I really do prefer starting with the (more or less) blank shell and having to put on just about every single part and you don't get that with Bandai's kit.

Curious to know which glue is best for Finemolds Millennium Falcon? And can I also use it for Bandai modelkits?

Both are polystyrene kits, any off the shelf model kit glue will work. Tamiya extra thin is my personal go to glue.

Update on the underside. I added a bit more detail, more streaks on each quadrant. The center disk is unpainted because I like to display the model without it. Might come back to it.

JV1138 ... nice build sofar ... still I think you should soften those very black stripes and splotches a little more ... so I took the liberty to photoshop your FM to show how it could improve even better in my humble opinion :

Also photographing your models on a more neutral back ground does help with determining the accurate overall colour
