Die Hard 5 - A Good Day to Die Hard (Post-release)

For me there are only two Die Hard films, 1 and 2.

The action on this new one was okay, but it just didn't feel like a Die Hard movie.

ditto, die hard takes place in either LA or New York not Russia... some good explosions though, those are always nice.

Yes to the Washington.

Saw the film last night. I enjoyed it for what it was, a great way to get out of the house for a few hours and have some me time. It could have been any action movie with Bruce Willis. It didn't feel like Die Hard to me. By far the weakest in the series as many have said, but overall I enjoyed it.

I liked this film - it was something fun to do with good actors (Jai Courtney did as fine a job as anyone else could have done playing McClane's son) and a couple of great explosion scenes. I'll grant that the script was somewhat predictable, however, one ought to expect them to be by the time the 5th installment of any movie rolls around...
