Today, I received something quite fun, the Sith Planet 1/24 T-70 X-Wing kit. I saw this on Modeler Magic, and figured I’d pick one up for a fun build. It will be a nice distraction from the studio scale X & Y wings I have going now.

Randy was great to deal with, shipped quickly, and was well packaged. Thanks, Randy!

I’ll let the pics speak for themselves. I have included a couple of comparison shots with the amazing Salzo V5 X-wing, just to show the size of the model.

I meant to mention that Randy includes a second backplate assembly to represent Poe’s ‘boosted’ X-wing from TLJ. I never cared for the black/orange of Poe’s bird, so I won’t be using it. However, it IS a nice touch for those who will.

WOW! I just visited Modelers Magic and I am loving those model kits. I especially like the McQuarrie Concept A-Wing. Wish I had the money to get one.

I'm not a fan of the T-70, but that is a very sharp looking kit, I'm sure you'll do it justice

I much prefer the T-65. Always felt that the T-70 was a bit ‘cartoonish’ in comparison. However, when the 1/24 kit of it came out, I figured it might look nice with the rest of my collection of OT studio models.

It’s a cool model. T-70 isn’t my favorite but had to have one for my collection. $395. Not too bad for what you get.
