The Last Jedi Rose Tico inspired costume?

I am looking to put together a male Resistance ground crew outfit inspired by those seen in The Last Jedi.

Rather than taking on a specific character from the new trilogy I would like to go with something a little more generic, to give myself more freedom. I'm not looking to recreate a particular outfit per se, but I would like to take visual cues from what is shown on screen, so that it looks like it could be part of that world.

My first point of reference is Rose, and the visual dictionaries are immensely helpful in terms of showcasing background characters, but I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction when it comes to an appropriate flight suit / jumpsuit? I'm not expecting to achieve a 100% screen accurate look but I'd like to go with the best that I can afford.

The Rose uniform a variation of the crew and pilot suits. Those gold colored suits are shown in several sections of the vis dictionary, as you have seen. I'm not aware of any off the shelf suit you could use for it. The most info I have seen is at:

where they are discussing Cordura fabric for the suit and have some links for it, as well as hardware used on the vests.

Rose's belt is the same on as the TFA x-wing pilots with the roll pin buckle and you get it on ebay:

You just flip It inside out, add the roll pin buckle, spray paint it gray and remove the extra areas at the ends.
