Hi everyone.
First of all: Thank you for all the information, help, etc. in this forum. It helped me out a lot!
Since I have been leaching this forum for a while, I figured it might be nice to finally give something back. Therefor I decided to post my "making of"s of the 5 helmets I've created so far.
This one is about my stormtrooper helmet

Just the usual... many hours of cutting and glueing... Pepakura file was from this forum I believe.

Since this was my first helmet, I was stupid enough to do the resin coating in my basement... worst idea EVER!
Almost lead to a divorce^^
I figured, I did something wrong with one of the mouth peaces, so I corrected it with hot glued.

And also for the first time in my life I filled and grinded something. Also not clever to do this in the basement...

I used some quick repair filler for walls to make it smoother, which I actually still do to this day.
But since I had no idea about priming, I used regulard "wall paint" to paint it all white.

Averward I applied paint with a brush and did some coloring.
For some reason I never finish my helmets. I always miss out the lenses... I'll save that for another day.
