Question About Evike Aliens Pulse Rifle AirSoft Rifle

I received an Evike Aliens Pulse Rifle AirSoft Rifle for Christmas. The batter that came with a 1000mah did not work so I ordered a 1500 mah and it works fine but does not fit in the battery department. There is a plastic tab in the battery compartment that if removed would allow the battery to fit, but I would have to break it or grind it down or something.

Anyone have any advice in this matter? This is my first AirSoft Rifle.

You can remove it without problem. I ground mine out with a dremel and made a new styrene one, which I then installed further in to accommodate the longer battery.

Did you take the Rifle apart or did you just dremel if from the outside the battery compartment.

You can also get a lipo battery instead. A lower voltage one. They are considerably smaller depending on which one you get. Though lipos are a new thing for me as well but if you are careful and use common sense you should be ok.
