Looks good so far, but I'd say with 90% certainty that the rectangle on both parts of the baton is recessed not raised. This isn't a criticism of your effort so far I would just want you to get it right first time and not use up expensive plastic and have to start again.

If you look at this stunt casting you can see at this nice angle in the photo the rectangle is recessed not raised.

If you knew that already I apologise and wish you all the best with the project, I really enjoyed Tron Legacy and would like to see your finished baton.

Good luck.

Thanks for the advice, I take criticism as an aid, but my collection is not raised, it is dug. ;)

Nice! way better than my budget build! said it before....saying it again....subscribing!

So I imagine you are going to add light effects to it? Plus, please consider addition of a strong magnet or a metal plate that a magnet could work with on the backside of the unit so it could attach to the side of the thigh. :D

Thanks for doing all these T:L pieces ArtFunk!

It is, of course will be provided with leds and also the opening snap on both sides.

Yes indeed, looking forward to it!

So when is the "interest thread" for this going in the JY? ;)

I'm so tired of waiting for Sideshow to do something with their "Disc & Baton Replicas" that they have been sitting on for years!

see the progress of the work, if it is satisfactory, I'll put it surely JY.

bump... in hopes of inspiration...

Doesn't the thought of an authentic looking baton inside an authentic looking case, all lit up like the movie, sound cooler than cool?!?

I am
I had to start again, because the solution to give the notch on the forex, was dysfunctional and poor outcome.
So I modeled two cartons of mdf, upon which I have laser-etched the excavation, and I would say that the result is ... judged you.
