"Who knows the end? What has risen may sink, and what has sunk may rise. Loathsomeness waits and dreams in the deep, and decay spreads over the tottering cities of men. A time will come—"
I actually took one down to Belize and tried to take some underwater pics last year! They didn't come out great but it was definitely fun. I'll be better prepared next time.
I was just complaining to friends how There's very little good Cthulhu merch out there. I was basically saying very similar stuff to what you said earlier in this thread about most of the art and merch looking like a muscular superhero with a squid head and bat wings. He pointed me to your thread. This has to be the best damn representation of both Cthulhu and the specific artifact from the story I have ever seen. By a damn broad margin.
I don't know if this has been brought up before but any chance you'll ever sell raw castings? I really enjoy doing faux finishes and weathering and would love to paint up one myself.
Hey! I only read up to page 7 (strapped for time atm), but I was curious on if you sticked with the original Apple Barrel paints you used for the statue depiction for this result, or moved on to more specialty paints (or if this is a customer paintjob, in which case ignore me).
