I can go a whole week only actually physically speaking to my wife, my son, and maybe the FedEx guy, if I'm lucky. Everything, and I mean everything I do professionally is accomplished online.

Saw this a while back, way cool. I wish someone had taken more footage of the models they were making back then.I love the two y - wings being kitbashed. I remember they day's when we dressed like that.....cough........cough ....i mean people dressed like that. This stuff should be on the blue ray release.

Alex is probably the most talented person I've ever met! And I'm sure you'll agree, he is friendly, funny and so passionate about his work; he's always willing to share his knowledge with anyone who has interest. I've been fortunate to have worked with him on at least a dozen projects, including The Abyss, Total Recall and Starship Troopers. Ahhhh. The good ol' days...

Alex, despite his enormous success, is the most humble person you'll ever meet. Not only that, but he's just a great, great guy (he must be to listen to my ramblings). I just love to talk "shop" with him, hear tales of his exploits in the film world (and elsewhere), and just take in the amazing history he has in the business. I've learned more in a day of being in his company, than weeks of film school. So, yeah, I completely agree.
And really, who else could I talk to for an hour 'bout a single shot from The Magnificent Ambersons?
I don't think such talent and enthusiasm for the art has ever assembled in one place like that except for when Stan Winston dined alone.:lol
