Very nice Chaim. I've been pondering the vintage rod as a replacement for the modern stock as well. So far, I've got no good solutions that don't incorporate more new parts...
Perhaps the group can come up with something together.
I had also also wanted to use the round brass piece that screws onto the rod as the cone with some machining but it's the wrong size by a lot.
