For someone who has a real one or accurate replica... From photoscaling I worked out that the main tube is actually 1-3/8" in diameter, not 1-1/2". Can I get a confirmation of one or the other?
An eighth of an inch isn't that much of a huge deal, but it counts. Ran into this with my Supertrooper Uzi-based autoblaster. Started with a 1-1/2" bit of tubing and it was too big for the front end where the barrel attaches. I did photoscaling of the other Uzi elements, did math, and determined the barrel -- and thus the Graflex -- was smaller than the conventional wisdom (and that template posted above). Based on my math, I got a 1-3/8"-diameter sink drain extension from Ace Hardware, and it fit perfectly.
I only just recently have a Parks Sabers replica on order, as that prop is only of middling priority for me, but in the meantime, this thread has come up. So I thought I'd ask, since that's a major factor in scratchbuilding -- diameter of base tube.
