Zombieland!

Looks like a normal "morning after DragonCon" shot..:lol

My 7 y/o saw the trailer over my shoulder, so I explained what a zombie was. Somehow she already knew they were "dead people".

My 5 y/o was listening from another room I guess. Several hours later, he finished his dinner, pushes his plate away, gets up and takes his plastic pirate musket pistol with him and says, "I still have zombies to kill" and walks off. :lol

(y)thumbsup

When the zombacalypse hits, I want him on MY team!

It appears to just be a generic "scenes about town" type of shot to estabish the whole "zombie apocalypse" vibe.

It doesn't look bad enough.

For one thing, there should be a lot more blood and a lot more bodies. I'm also pretty sure that they wouldn't carefully steer the cars so as not to damage them in an apocalypse.
Pretty sure there would be some major window breakage as well.

Yeah, for whatever it's worth, it's a pretty brief glimpse in the trailer (it's just cool to see a scene I was there for and showing where I work in a movie) but the shot right before that one in the trailer is from the same intersection looking down Edgewood and it's got a car crash in that one... :)

It'd be nice if the movie was good. I'll probably NetFlix it just to check it out.

I saw some of Glory filmed in Savannah and that was a pretty decent movie. The set facades they set up on River Street for that movie were mindblowing though. It was like visiting Universal Studios but it was just a few blocks from my college dorm.

Other than that, I can think of One Missed Call which was unimpressive... Can't say I can think of many good/great films made in my neck of the woods. Although it was cool to see a favorite pizza joint I visit for lunch behind the actress in One Missed Call (I couldn't actually bear to watch the movie - just fast-forwarded through it looking for stuff I'd recognize :p )

Got to see it last nite!! LOVED it!!!!
Very good work from a 1st time director! I won't say anything else about it except the soundtrack ROCKS!!! Must have that!

Does anyone know the name of the country song in the trailer, the one that sounds like it was sung by Johnny Cash.

David.

Me and Trip are gonna go check this one out in a week or so.

As a zombie movie fan... I will say that the use of the Johnny Cash song The man comes around during the opening montage of Dawn of the Dead 2.0 is the finest use of contemporary music in cinema history. It gave me goosebumps sitting in the theater.

No.

You're a massive pooppoo head! No!

Ah crap.

Damn it.

You're right. That one scene and song was enough to get me to look into some of his other stuff.
