Took a day trip to Tatooine.

The new Space Port here in Pahrump NV is offering day trips to Tatooine. The trip is about an hour.

Anyway, didn't see any Jawas or Sand People, but it was fun! Weather was nice considering the two Suns.

Finally visited Death Valley, which is only an hour away from my house. Just did the Jawa Canyon this trip.

No. Those were both filmed at Sidi Bouhlel, Tunisia.
