Zombie Steampunk laboratory

Re: Zombie Steampunk laboratory - Update 10/8/1012

Fantastic work, You should turn one of the bigger tubes into an Ice dispenser and the other into a beer pump :D

Re: Zombie Steampunk laboratory - Update 10/8/1012

The skull is a bit fake looking (maybe put a fake brain there instead of a skull?) the rest is amazing! That heart part is truly gruesome!

I'm uploading a few other picks of work I have done on the skull since this photo, I have some other plans for the brains, I'll upload those photos soon.

Thanks for the compliments on the others!

Re: Zombie Steampunk laboratory - Update 10/8/1012

Here are a few other shots that are better, I also have been adding a little paint to highlight some of the areas. These still have a long way to go, and the rest of the room is far from done, but I'll get there.

Yes, you mean the first several pics I posted? It is one of those novelty christmas gifts that holds full size liquor bottles. you just pull off the nozzle, then push the bottle on, and re-attatch the nozzle. Then you lift the rubber "propeller" looking gizmos and it pours the perfect shot. It was cool, but looked lame, now it has purpose!

hope that answers the question.

Re: Zombie Steampunk laboratory - update

the last pic of those goggles looks dope. I'd like to have them just like that. Thinking you have some other plans for the color. I could see luke rocking those for sure.

Thank you, there not bad as is, i do have plans for a "Steampunk" treatment though, to keep with the them. I might have to make another set later though, they were only $6.95 on ebay, with free shipping:thumbsup

Re: Zombie Steampunk laboratory - update

Man, that is *AMAZING*!

Imagination, creativity, the talent to create what you envision and the energy to do it. I bow to you, sir!

Re: Zombie Steampunk laboratory - update

Remember when I said the skull was kind of fake looking? I totally made a mistake! I thought the white plastic skull was your definitive look. Didn't even recognize in the same post that you gave it the same treatment as you did the heart. That is much much better.
I should pay better attention :)

Re: Zombie Steampunk laboratory - update

I am relatively new to building props at the level of detail that most of you guys do on this forum. The work here is absolutely amazing and I have learned a lot. Forgive me if this seems like a stupid question, but with regards to the effect on the skull. What is painters plastic and where would I look to buy some?

Re: Zombie Steampunk laboratory - update

No worries man, none at all. I was sort of loading in parts anyway. its all good in the hood
