This is my own gauntlet, it´s an example of how it can be articulated.




In order to articulate the fingers I drilled with a dremel several holes and after joined them with nylon.



And this is a video I have done with my gauntlet, still a lot of work to do in it . Enjoy it

Nice work man! :thumbsup 2x I've been following your post for quite some time now. I've finally got the time to register here in theRPF. Just wanna share some of our work (my brother and I)... pepped and resined. We are now in the process of putting filler to smothen it up

i was curious would you be willing to share your new hinge design file? looks like its a improvement from the first design.. also how are you mounting the hinge to the helmet it self?

I think I shared it, but yes I can share it again, it´s almost the same system as before.

In my new helmet I will mount MightyJohn system ^^

And finally I glued it all sometimes with bondo and sometimes with epoxi 2 components glue.

sweet i just ordered his system as well,could you share your electronics setup such as what model servo's your using? i wish we could try to keep this self contained in the helmet but with limited space i guess its not possible.

I think I posted before wich servo was, anay it´s an hextronic 12kg torque

The setup it´s pretty simple,the lead pulls the faceplate

It depends on how smooth it do the movement, always is better 2 just because you can program each travel separately.

i got the two servo's you recommended and tried doing a setup similar to yours but i'm having a problem in relation to using it with mightyjohns system. can you post up how your servo setup looks like now? thx.

My setup it´s like the one before, I didn´t use MJ yet so can´t say how to solve it, anyway send me pics or a video so I may tell you if I see something wrong.

how do we program a servo? do we have to hook it up to a com?
