Your number one WORST film ever.

Godard's "Weekend"... saw it in school when I was a kid... I have this half-memory of a french couple wandering through the aftermath of a massive traffic accident... an endless line of smashed cars, some still on fire... or smoldering... they were just walking around... nothing happening... and it just bored the crap out of me...

Though I might find it brilliant today. But to my seven-year-old brain... yikes. Here's a clip. I DARE YOU to watch all seven plus minutes...

Yeah, I'd say any of Godard's work would be lost on a kid. Especially American kids.

You should really give it another go, as it's great.

The worst movies I've seen are Batman and Robin, Mars Attack, Killer Klownz from Outer Space. But THE Worst Movie I saw when I was younger and my then neighbors rented it so many times that they knew the lines from the Damn thing was " A Rock & Roll Nightmare" I hated that movie. What suppose to be Satan looked like a cheap rod puppet and the Hero was just plain dumb.

I have a new worst movie to add to my list. Scott Pilgrim VS The World. I've never seen a movie so bad I wanted to hang myself until now.

I may have posted these already, but I just can't say enough about how bad these two are.

Inglorious Bastards
Bram Stokers Dracula

Gymkata is probably he worst movie I've ever seen.., oversexed rug-munchers from mars comes in a close second.

Year One with Jack Black and Michael Cera.
The only movie I've ever walked out of. Terrible, jokeless, cheap-looking piece of crap that not only ruined Jack Black and Michael Cera for me, but left absolutely no hope for a good Ghostbusters 3.

I've got another one, a film that was released since I last posted in this thread. I can't say this is the worst film I've ever seen, but it's certainly in the running: The Green Hornet with Seth Rogen. I knew walking into the theater that it was going to be bad, but I didn't think it would be that bad. I went in with low expectations, and it failed to meet even those. The only reasons to watch this film are Jay Chou as Kato, and the Black Beauty.

The one that sticks out to me is The Dark Knight, didn't get what the fuss was all about, I didn't like it (very overrated) but thought Begins were ok.

toys with robin williams.

True.

There's a lot of mediocre movies here that I didn't like or didn't get, but few I'd really hate. Avatar was a meh movie, but I can't say I hated it. I just can't understand its popular reception. At all.

The only movie I can say I truly hate I saw over a decade ago and nothing has beat it yet: Faust: Love of the Damned

It's about a guy who's girlfriend is killed like in The Crow, so he sells his soul like in Spawn to get a costume like Batman and claws like Wolverine. And every second of it is torture.

This was the movie (along with the Spiderman movies) that for me ended the idea that movies can be so bad they're good. Because these folks were obviously trying to make something so bad it was good, but they only half succeeded.

I don't hate movies. I hate that movie.

Ok... I've been pouring over the thread and alot of the suggested worst movies weren't all that bad... I admit... I'm a movie junkie. I admit, I wasn't as pleased with the Transformers series as I was hoping (they made them too complicated) and when they made the transforming woman in 2 I was just disgusted... what is it with Hollywood and thinking that if the alien/robot can mimik a human its gonna be a good plot twist... just bad... The Star Wars Prequels weren't as good as I was hoping but then again I didn't like the Special Editions of the the first 3 either... kinda ruined them if you ask me. But then again you can't really blame them for trying. Which brings me to the low budget movies... Manos for example... here's a extremely low budget movie made so long ago STILL being talked about today! Look at the films of Ed Wood... simply BAD! But now I'm rambling... in my honest opinion when Hollywood is pressured to release film of a famous francise just to make an extra buck or two, it's always gonna turn out bad... but when the francises lead charater actor/actresses die in real life and they proceed to make a movie replacing them with someone else... you're talking about an epic fail on a holocast level. So I submit to you all... the grand daddy of all bad films... the worst of the bunch... the apidomy of Hollywood greed and complete and utter failure...

The Addams Family Reunion

What makes this such a bad film is they proceeded to make it after Raul Julia died (who in my opinion was the appidemy of Gomez). Now... none of the original actors came back for this terrible revisit to the once happily horrific family... Who starred in this assinine film you ask? Tim Curry plays Gomez (terribly I might add and I'm a Tim Curry fan), Darryl Hannah as Mortica (and I hate to add, again, I have liked most of her films before too Splash comes to mind, but OMG)... Even the disembodied hand THING was played by a different hand actor... now... This is god's honest truth... I rented this little gem because for some reason it never made it into the theaters and popped it into my DVD player... hit play and 5 minutes later I was driving back to the video store to return it! If you don't believe me... I actually found that someone has purposefully put the entire movie up on YouTube... perhaps as a form of punishment... but take a look for yourself... if you can sit thru the first 10 minutes without getting violently ill... I applaud you:

Yeah I guess you're right... LOL... Told ya... WORST MOVIE EVER!! Who else dares to watch the horror that is Hollywood greed??

The Room.

Actually, I like this movie because it has perhaps the worst dialog ever written. Its so bad that I love showing it to people.

In reality, the worst movie is a tie between original Tron and 2001: Space Odyssey. I worry I could be banned for this admission though...:lol
