Your number one WORST film ever.

I think the wide difference of opinion proves that one man's meat is another man's poisson (yes, that's the actual saying).

I've disliked a lot of movies, but at the very top of the list is a tie for "The Life Aquatic" and "Haunted Mansion" (based on the Disney attraction, starring Eddie Murphy).

"Manos: Hands of Fate" gave us Torgo. Torgo is legend. "Wild Wild West" was a lot of fun - and I *am* a fan of the TV series (I wonder if the reactions would have been different if it had a different name and named characters?).

The first Hulk movie was pretty awful. And I think "Star Wars Episode One" has its place in the Hall of Shame.

"Sharks in Venice" was funny - "Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus" is even funnier!

I digress: I tell this to my wife all the time: you need to learn to appreciate *bad* cinema. And by "bad", I mean movies like "Manos..", "Sharks in Venice", almost every Ed Wood movie, and a bunch of other low-budget turkeys. And and all of those I have approached with the expectation that they were going to be awful. Not only was I not disappointed, but I was pleasantly amused by many of them.

The stinkers are when we sit down with high expectations to be entertained, and (as many have noted), wish we had those hours of our lives back.

=The fifth element=

:Bad is coming to get everyone and only love can stop it: :sick

The main characters have no chemistry , they are together because they are the main characters .

I hated this film

=Sun shine=

:the sun is dieing and some kid has to get a bomb inside it to get in going again: :rolleyes

All your problems can be salved with bombs

I was sold on this film when I walked into the theater, I will not let myself be let down like that ever again.

Everything about this movie was dumb , and the space suits were dumb looking.

"the 2001 of our generation" :unsure

=Children of men=

Again I was lied to and I bought into it. I don't have any idea what this movie was about, I was so board I just could not care.

If people stopped having babies it would be the best thing ever, with a finite number of people on the planet, the value of human life might finally be understood and people might finally come together and do something worth while.

I can't think of anything more lovely than the end of the human race , and wouldn't it be great if we could all go of old age.

"The most thought provoking film of all time" :confused

These movie were sold to me on lies and they were all awful , but they all have a value. Seeing how bad they are and how much people liked them gives me hope that one day someone will make the films that truly embody the ideas these movies were sold on.

trash

Wickerman remake. Just awful. Went in with impartiality, but having seen the original a few times. At no point in the film could I engage with the Cage. I thought I was watching a film based on the concept of Hollywood filming a remake of The Wickerman and highlighting all those irritatingly dumb tinseltown nuances. But I wasn't they were serious.

Wow, you guys really don't get out much! Charlie's Angels?, Thomas Crown? Braveheart? That is the best you can do???

Whimps!

Try this:

Worst ever for the money spent on it: Avatar

Worst thing written by Geo Lucas: SW Holiday Special

Worst Fantasy remake: Clash of the Titans

Worst ever I actually paid to see and could not leave because the theater owner always bolted the doors during the performance: Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Worst ever for writing, production values, acting, plot, video transfer, sound etc etc. "Something Weird" Only redeeming value...no CGI!

Even MST3K would reject this one! I dare anyone to sit through the entire film, all the way through, in one sitting.

LOL

Uh... I said Thomas Crown.

What's up with The Rocky Horror Picture Show?? Total masterpiece!

Hadn't heard of this turd. Thanks for the warning.

I've got a buddy that always brings up "pan's labyrinth" when we're talking about good movies and I want to punch him in the face.

This movie was also sold to me as a masterpiece (and that is where my worst movies normally start).

What really sets this one apart is the face that most people really like it.

I feel like I'm the only person that hated this movie and I really wish someone that really loved this film could explain to me why it's so great (more than just "I liked it")

Maybe I just didn't get it , but I'm starting to think no one did and a movie shouldn't be considered a masterpiece because no one understands it (what is this abstract art).

The recent remake of "The Day the Earth Stood Still".

It is the only DVD I ever got in my life that I watched the movie once and then threw it in the garbage. What a complete waste of a superb concept. I was just offended by it.

...Boogeyman... definitely Boogeyman... When you finally get to see the master of fear himself (generated in some of the worst CG I've seen), he gets kicked in the chest... and well, that's it. End of Movie... yep.

UGGH!!! THAT one..... my friend begged me to go see it cuz nobody else would... i did it because im a good friend and I'm nice like that... but boy we BOTH regretted it afterwards... the movie was just.... BAD!!! :angry

Ever? Do you have any idea how many movies I watched, somehow forced myself to see through the whole movie on TV? Afterwards regretted every bit of that time wasted!!!!

I read through this thread, people are listing Transformers, Avatar, etc... yet you can't come up with REAL utter crap like Dragonball: Evolution(how I managed to watch that, I have no idea)? This world is crazy...but then again, I am the minority of people who actually like Transformers, Resident Evil, Street Fighter(Van Damme).

One of the more recent ones I finally got around to watching and I hated was Wanted.

Another one: 28 Days Later. First of all, I was told this was a zombie movie, I saw no zombies...nor anything that resembles them. So, after finding out it wasn't, I still watched it in disgust...

If its not limited to hollywood movies....

TADDAAAAMMM!!

You guys lose!!:lol

To me transformers is a bigger atrocity than dragonball as DB is crap to start with. The TF movies raped my childhood. Nobody mentioned GI though. I like the RE movies, i admit i'd rather see them closer to the game universe but still could be worse. Sadly the latest Living Dead movies (Diaries of the dead and such) are up there. Considering Romero created the genre he could do better AND film here in PA where he lives not in Canada. 28 Days later is a neat horror film but I agree it should have been advertised as a plague movie and not a zombie film.
