Your Indiana Jones Displays - Lets see 'em

I don't understand why so many urns have the color scheme so unlike the movie. Mine's still not exact, but I'm reasonably happy with it.

I got mine here, when there was that run of them. I lost all the papers that came with it, but still have the cool black case it came in. I considered selling mine but didn't really ever get around to putting it in the Junkyard. Mine looks like the first photo. Or my memory is faulty. I should get it out and look.

Belloq's Ceremonial Staff from Regal Robot arrived this week...a really impressive piece, extremely happy with it :)

I looked it up. Already unavailable, but too rich for my blood either way, but better looking than the last one I considered buying. I do have the breastplate from someone else, however.

You might have to rearrange to get them together. They really go together. The mythology of the ark is that only the right person with the right ritual can open the ark. Maybe they failed not because the ritual was wrong, but because the "priest" didn't have the right blood line.

Sorry, but I'm not paying that kind of money. Cheese and Wine can go together, but tough. $1700 for a FAKE? No thank you.

haha. My mistake. I was asking IceDog if he had the breast plate and you responded. I thought he had responded and already had both items, but not placed together.

Looking through the customer photos on Etsy of the one I got, their paint jobs vary drastically.

I'm going to try and see if I can remove most of the paint on mine with alcohol and add some blue to it.

I've heard $600 for one. So $1200 for two... can't tell you anything about accuracy, but in my opinion it is a little bit overpriced...

I'm sure there are similar cheaper cherubs out somewhere. Except you're a fan of official licensed Merchandising.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this RR replica? Accuracy, price, value??
I'm a big Regal Robot fan...some of their stuff is pricey, but their work is always outstanding, and they have great customer service. Their products are also made in the USA if that matters to anyone. The cherubim looks great, I ordered two. Given the size (17" long), materials (solid resin that is electroplated with metal), and lineage (3D scanned from the Lucasfilm archives), the price seems fair. I heard there was a run of cherubim created here at the RPF a while back, but it wasn't electroplated...not sure what the cost was.

Years ago there was a run made by sskunky of Cherubs, cast from originals and plated (if I remember correctly) on the same place where the original was plated. Cost was same of regal robot, 600$ 1 cherubs
